Loyd Grossman has been reappointed by the Secretary of State for
Digital, Culture, Media and Sport as Chair of The Royal Parks for
four years from 5 July 2020 to 4 of July 2024. Loyd is a
broadcaster and entrepreneur who has a long association with the
arts and heritage sectors. He is chairman of Gresham College, a
trustee of the Warburg Charitable Trust, a governor of the British
Institute of Florence and president of the Arts Society....Request free trial
Loyd Grossman has been reappointed by the Secretary of
State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport as Chair of The Royal

2024.
Loyd is a broadcaster and entrepreneur who has a long
association with the arts and heritage sectors. He is
chairman of Gresham College, a trustee of the Warburg
Charitable Trust, a governor of the British Institute of
Florence and president of the Arts Society.
His past appointments include service as a board member of
English Heritage, the Museums and Galleries Commission and
the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of
England. He was formerly chairman of the Churches
Conservation Trust and vice chairman of the Royal Drawing
School. A keen guitarist, he has performed several times at
Glastonbury.
This role is not remunerated. This reappointment has been
made in accordance with the Cabinet Office’s
Governance Code on Public Appointments, the process is
regulated by the Commissioner for Public Appointments. The
Government’s Governance Code requires that any significant
political activity undertaken by an appointee in the last
five years is declared. This is defined as holding office,
public speaking, making a recordable donation or
candidature for election. Mr Grossman has declared not any
activity.
