Climate Assembly UK sets date for publication of full report

The outcomes of the deliberations of the UK’s citizens assembly on climate change will be published at 00.01 on Thursday, 10 September 2020.

Over six weekends in Spring 2020, Climate Assembly UK brought together more than 100 people from all walks of life and all shades of opinion to discuss how the UK can meet its legally binding target to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

The full report will set out the Assembly’s reflections and recommendations to the six commissioning select committees, giving parliamentarians a unique opportunity to understand the public’s preferences on the UK’s path to net zero.
