House, my experience of Local Enterprise Partnerships
which are charged with directing investment priorities and
stimulating growth, is that they have varying records of capability
and success. As I said yesterday to the Economic Secretary to the
Treasury, I urge this Minister to work closely with his BEIS
colleagues to ensure that LEPs are delivering on their mandate.
