Preet Kaur Gill MP, Shadow Secretary of State for International
Development, commenting on reports that the Prime Minister misled
Parliament over the merger of the Department for International
Development and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, said: "Once
again the Prime Minister's version of events has been called into
question, this time by one of his own Cabinet members. "We need
urgent answers from the government to explain who is telling the
