Correspondence on National Assessment and Accreditation System (NAAS) grants

The Department for Education has sent letters setting out:

• which local authorities are taking part in the National Assessment and Accreditation System (NAAS)
• the amount of grant funding each local authority will receive
• the purpose of the NAAS grant
• additional grant funding to support research and evaluation

The Secretary of State for Education makes grant determinations under section 31 of the Local Government Act 2003.
