Rachel Reeves (Leeds West) (Lab): To follow up on the question from
my hon. Friend the Member for Leyton and Wanstead (John Cryer),
there are 4.7 million self-employed people, and currently they will
not be entitled to statutory sick pay or contributory jobseeker’s
allowance. The company Hermes, working with the GMB, has already
said that it will offer support to its workers who cannot come to
work because they have to self-isolate; other companies have not.
