Labour will scrap parking charges, providing free hospital parking - Jonathan Ashworth

Jonathan Ashworth, Labour’s Shadow Health and Social Care Secretary, responding to a Patients Association investigation which has found one in three hospitals have increased their prices for parking in the last year, said:

“These car parking charges are a tax on the sick, their families and hard-working NHS staff. A Labour government will totally scrap parking charges, providing free hospital parking for patients, staff and visitors.”
