Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall is over in Portcullis House
today, demonstrating innovation in rural policing. It is fair to
say that rural policing has not always had its fair share. I ask
the Minister whether Cornwall and, more importantly, North Cornwall
can have its fair share of the 20,000 officers to make sure that
