people in the Bristol area and the west of England has been, and
will remain, one of the Government’s key priorities. The importance
that we place on the Greater Bristol area is demonstrated, I hope,
by the recent investments that we have made. For example, we are
investing £5 billion into the electrification and upgrade of
the Great
Western main line, from Paddington through to Bristol
Parkway and Cardiff, delivering better services and new trains with
thousands more seats...
