Summary
Seeks views on a statutory licence modification notice to
mandate ADR scheme membership and offer rail consumers a
simple route to a redress scheme.
This consultation was held on another
website.
This consultation ran from
9:30am on 26 February
2019 to 11:45pm on 26 March 2019
Consultation description
The Office of Rail and Road is seeking feedback from
licence holders on a statutory licence modification
notice to mandate membership of the alternative dispute
resolution (ADR) scheme.
This follows on from our decision on proposals to
modify passenger and station licences to
mandate ADR scheme
membership to ensure that rail consumers are given
long-term certainty of the ability to obtain a free and
binding means of independent redress.
