Written statement on Prime Minister's Trade Envoys - Jul 18

Dr Liam Fox (Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade): The Prime Minister has today approved two new appointments to the Trade Envoy programme. Ian Austin MP has been appointed as the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Israel, and Lord Risby as Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Lebanon (this is in addition to his current role as PM’s Trade Envoy to Algeria) These new appointments take the total number of Trade Envoys to 27 parliamentarians covering 58 markets. The Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy programme is an unpaid and voluntary cross-party network, who support the UK’s ambitious trade and investment agenda in global markets.”
