New Sustainable Farming Scheme for post-Brexit Wales unveiled

On Tuesday 9 July, the Minister for Environment, Energy and Rural Affairs, Lesley Griffiths will unveil proposals for a new Sustainable Farming Scheme in Wales post-Brexit.

 

The latest consultation will set out proposals for the new programme which will replace CAP in Wales once the UK leaves the EU. It sets out detailed proposals and walks farmers through how the scheme could work in practice.  The proposals include a multi-year transition period to help prepare and move from the current schemes to new arrangements.

 

The consultation will run until 30 October 2019.
