DWP questioned on reports of advertising spend to boost UC image

Following a Guardian report claiming that DWP intends to
spend significant sums on advertising to promote Universal
Credit, against what is described as negative portrayal of the
welfare reform and its impact by the media, the Committee has
written to Work and Pensions Secretary of State Amber Rudd asking
for sight of the leaked DWP intranet posting that sparked the
report, and a series of detailed questions on its content.
