How safe are our buses and trams?
Seven people tragically lost their lives and 62 more were injured
in the Croydon tram crash in November 2016.
An investigation into the crash made a series of 15
recommendations to improve safety for passengers.
Between quarter three of 2018/2019, there were 1,098
injuries related to buses. Of these injuries, 20% required
hospital treatment.
