Guidance on exporting to the Palestinian Territories after EU Exit

Leaving the EU with a deal remains the UK government’s top priority. This has not changed. However, the government is continuing with no deal preparations to ensure the country is prepared for every eventuality.

Trade agreement

The UK has agreed arrangements with the Palestinian Territories to ensure trade continues with minimal disruption after the UK leaves the EU.

The agreement can maintain the effects of the EU-Palestinian Territories agreement if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.

Tariffs and quotas

Because the UK has agreed continuity arrangements with the Palestinian Territories, trade could continue with minimal changes to tariffs and quotas when the UK leaves the EU.

Controlled goods

The export licensing regulations for controlled goods will be affected.

Controlled goods include:

• military items
• dual-use items (items with both civil and military uses)
• firearms

Exports of certain categories of product to some countries are subject to embargoes or sanctions.
