PM adds to praise for the Indian diaspora

In Prime Minister's question time today, Shailesh Vara MP
(North West Cambridgeshire, Conservative) said the Indian diaspora
in Britain should be commended for the fact that, despite
comprising four per cent of the UK population, they actually
contributed some 10% of taxes to the Treasury. Theresa May
welcomed the contribution made to the British economy of the Indian
diaspora, pointing out that many Indians were running businesses,
