Sir (East Devon) (Con):...My
first request—this is the Minister’s road to rehabilitation—is to
consider how we can use Government capital infrastructure spending
to reduce, or ideally erase, those debts. Secondly, how can the
Government assist in encouraging Government-backed technology and
projects to locate to the science park? If the Minister were able

Babcock—it is already strong in Plymouth, as we have heard—not

located there?
(Newcastle upon Tyne Central)
(Lab):...Bristol is home to the largest aerospace cluster

in the face of Brexit uncertainty. In the last
month, Airbus has warned once again of the impact of a no-deal
Brexit. Its supply chain crosses the channel several times, meaning
that any friction at the border will cause substantial problems for
the company, which employs 3,000 people in Filton in high-skilled,
high-paid jobs that are key to future economic growth. How does the
Minister plan to protect those jobs?
