The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Education (Nadhim
Zahawi):...We are to introduce a national retraining scheme, an
ambitious and far-reaching programme to drive adult learning and
retraining. It will be in place by the end of this Parliament. The
Chancellor recently announced £100 million to roll out initial
elements of the scheme across the country. That accompanies funding
announced in the previous budget for the Greater Manchester
