Guidance published on onshoring of elements of the E-Commerce Directive relating to financial services

The Treasury has published a paper setting out the proposed amendments to UK legislation related to financial services elements of the E-Commerce Directive, to be laid under the EU (Withdrawal) Act, to ensure that it continues to operate effectively in a UK context once the UK leaves the EU, in any scenario.
