European Commission recommends to end biannual clock change - quote from Heidi Hautala MEP

On the announcement that the European Commission will recommend ending the biannual clock change after mass public reaction to a European Citizens Initiative on the issue, Vice Presidents of the Greens/EFA group Heidi Hautala MEP comments: 

"It's better late than never that the Commission is listening to millions of European citizens and proposing to abolish the biannual time change. It's time to end the unnecessary and unwanted clock change which wastes energy and increases fatigue."
