Responding to the Government's announcement revealing there are now
more than 79,000 households, and more than 123,000 homeless
children, living in temporary accommodation across the
country, Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Housing, Wera
Hobhouse, said: "The shocking statistics revealed today
demonstrate the need for the Tories to be much more ambitious if
they are to help the thousands of families in temporary
