Sarah Jones MP appointed as Labour Shadow Housing Minister

Labour Leader, Jeremy Corbyn has appointed Sarah Jones MP as Shadow Housing Minister.

Jeremy Corbyn MP, Leader of the Labour Party, said:

“I am delighted to appoint Sarah to this important post. She brings a huge amount of experience from her work for the housing charity Shelter and as a constituency MP in London.

“Housing is a top priority for Labour. As our recent social housing Green Paper showed, only Labour has a long-term, credible plan to make housing affordable for the many, not the few.”

John Healey MP, Shadow Housing Secretary, said:

“Sarah will be a big asset to our housing team as we continue to show up the Tories’ eight years of failure on housing, and set out Labour’s long-term plan to tackle the pressures people face.”
