Labour's Gordon Marsden responds to Sutton Trust report

“The Tories have created a student finance system that leaves the most disadvantaged students with the biggest debts, forcing them to limit their aspirations because of money. 

“Student choice should be based on what is best for them, not how they can best cut costs.

“The next Labour Government would abolish tuition fees and bring back maintenance grants to give all students the support they need, and it is about time that the Conservatives did the same.”
