NAO briefing note on Implementing the UK’s exit from the European Union: The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy

The National Audit Office has today published a briefing describing how the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), which has one of the largest and most complex EU Exit portfolios in government, is preparing to deliver a successful exit from the EU.  

The briefing describes the following:

·        The scale of the task. We set out the work streams BEIS has identified to deliver Exit and the range of stakeholders it will need to consult.

·        How BEIS has organised its response. We set out how BEIS has established its EU Exit team and governance structure.

·        How BEIS has set about its task. We set out BEIS’ approach to planning its work and resources to deliver an effective exit from the EU.
