Mr Robert Goodwill (Home Office): In 2016, the UK granted
asylum or another form of leave to over 8,000 children. By the end
of 2016, the UK had resettled more than 5,000 people under the
Syrian Vulnerable Persons’ Resettlement Scheme and the Vulnerable
