The ERTMS National Implementation Plan has been produced to meet
the Control Command & Signalling TSI criteria. The scope
includes the High Speed and Conventional Trans-European Railway
Network (TEN) routes in the UK. It focuses upon implementation of
GSM-R and ETCS in support of the introduction of ERTMS Level 2
without lineside signals. The plan aligns with expected
re-signalling dates and rolling stock replacement dates wherever
