Skills Minister gives evidence as Lords numeracy inquiry concludes

The House of Lords Numeracy for Life Committee concludes its inquiry on Thursday 16 July by hearing from Baroness Smith of Malvern, Minister for Skills, Department for Education (DfE), and Department for Work & Pensions (DWP)

The session can be followed live or afterwards on Parliament TV or in person in Committee Room 3, Palace of Westminster from 10.05am.

Members are expected to ask questions on:

• numeracy as a Government priority;
• devolution and Mayoral Authorities;
• Multiply and the evidence base for future investment;
• economic impact;
• impact on individuals;
• early years and prevention;
• confidence and maths anxiety;
• GCSE resits and numeracy driving licenses.
