Lib Dems: Starmer must not “water down protections” in light of Trump's comments on a social media ban

Responding to Donald Trump's comments on a social media ban in the UK, Munira Wilson MP, Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Education, Children and Families, said:

"If Donald Trump policed his own social media half as much as he meddles in British democracy, the internet would be a much safer place.

Starmer must guarantee that he will not be bullied into watering down protections for children online."
