Prorogation (update) - Wednesday, April 29

Further to our email earlier today, we can now confirm the proceedings for Wednesday April 29.

Commons

Oral questions on Women and Equalities and to the Prime Minister will take place as usual. After PMQs, there will be a ten-minute rule bill. Following this, the Commons will be suspended until they are summoned to the Lords by Black Rod for the Royal Commission (prorogation).

Westminster Hall

The first two debates will take place as normal, but the remaining three debates will be cancelled

Lords

The Lords will meet at 1.15pm for the Royal Commission, and there will be no business prior to this.
