On Tuesday 14 April from
11:00am the House of Lords European Affairs
Committee will
continue its new inquiry into dynamic alignment.
This week the Committee
will be exploring the way in which dynamic alignment
with areas of EU law operates in other countries, and
whether there are lessons from their experiences for the UK, as
it potentially prepares to undertake dynamic alignment
itself.
The Committee will be taking evidence
from the Ambassadors of two relevant countries: Norway, which
undertakes dynamic alignment as part of the European Economic
Area (EEA) Agreement with the
EU; and Switzerland, which
has recently reached a new package of agreements with the EU that
introduces dynamic alignment to their relationship.

The evidence session will take
place in Committee Room 4, Palace of Westminster and will be
