The Political Cabinet discussed how this Labour government is delivering for working people in all parts of the country.

Referring to the conflict in the Middle East, the Prime Minister said that no matter the headwinds, supporting families will always be at the forefront of his mind.

Ministers talked about how Labour is focused on the country's priorities - helping families with the cost of living, getting the NHS back on its feet, and restoring pride in the places where people live.

The Political Cabinet referenced the progressive change already happening under Labour including the biggest upgrade in worker's rights in a generation and action to lift half a million children out of poverty.

They contrasted this Labour government's decision to invest in local areas with the divisive politics of Reform, which seeks to tear communities apart.
