The Mayor is responsible for a budget of over £21bn, shared
across the Greater London Authority, including Transport for
London, the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime, and the London
Fire Brigade.
The key financial changes in the Final Draft Consolidated Budget
compared with the January Draft Consolidated Budget include:
- The Mayor's 2026-27 Final Draft Consolidated Budget includes
an additional £142.6 million funding compared to
the January 2026-27 Draft Consolidated
Budget.[1]

£50 million for supporting young Londoners

£20 million to implement the AI Taskforce
recommendations.

£29 million to tackle violence against women
and girls (VAWG), including to address safety concerns in
specific areas

£20 million to trial further fares innovation
to work to grow passenger numbers and London's economy

£20 million to secure more major events in
London[2]
Tomorrow, the London Assembly Budget and
Performance Committee will question the Mayor on his
final 2026-27 budget plans, before they are considered by the
London Assembly for approval on Thursday 26
February at Mayor's Question Time.
