Conservative response to calls for resignation of UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese

Dame Priti Patel MP, Shadow Foreign Secretary, said:

"These sick claims repeat the rhetoric of terrorists and risk fueling antisemitism. It's outrageous for UN officials to show such outright bias and prejudice, not to mention being counterproductive to efforts to secure a long-term peace.

"The Labour Government must show some backbone and demand the sacking of this official, whose position is clearly untenable. If the Foreign Secretary fails to act then she'll be complicit in this hatred."
