As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence,
the Executive has reaffirmed its determination to tackle all
forms of gender-based violence, abuse, and harm.
“Violence against women and girls is one of the most
pressing challenges facing our society.
“The Executive remains committed to driving cultural and
systemic change, working with partners across government,
communities, and voluntary sectors to stop violence before it
starts.
“We are united in our commitment to create a changed
society where women and girls are free from all forms of
gender-based violence, abuse and harm, including the attitudes,
systems and structural inequalities that perpetuate
them.”
