MPs write to BBC Chair Samir Shah with evidence session follow-up questions

The Culture, Media and Sport Committee has written to BBC Chair Samir Shah following his appearance in front of the committee last week.

The letter poses a number of follow-up questions about the role and actions of Dr Shah and the BBC board in the days after the editorial concerns raised by former BBC advisor Michael Prescott were first reported in the media.

It also asks about the resignation of board member Shumeet Banerji and wider questions about how the BBC is improving its processes.
