Universities UK responds to UKRI funding announcement

Responding to Science and Technology Secretary Liz Kendall's speech at the UKRI Growth Summit, Vivienne Stern MBE, Chief Executive of Universities UK said:

It is great to see the government recognise the value of curiosity-driven research and funding for QR and HEIF remain stable, so universities from all four corners of the UK can continue to deliver for the country and power the industrial strategy.”
