How is Ofcom implementing the Online Safety Act? Lords communications committee to quiz regulator

The House of Lords Communications and Digital Committee will next week take evidence from Ofcom on the regulator's implementation of the Online Safety Act.  

The session will see the committee quiz Ofcom Chief Executive Dame Melanie Dawes and Director for Online Safety Strategy Mark Bunting on the impact of its ‘year of action' on online safety; how it will ensure it keeps up with the latest online harms and technologies; and the effectiveness of its three-year media literacy strategy.

The evidence session will start at 2:30pm on Tuesday 14 October. Giving evidence to the Committee will be:
