Big Six energy CEOs to face committee on UK energy market and bills

The Energy Security and Net Zero Committee will question the chief
executives of the “Big Six” energy companies: OVO Energy, Octopus,
E.On, Centrica, EDF UK, and ScottishPower on October 15. Together
these firms now supply over 90% of British households, up from 79%
in 2020, and the session will examine the high cost of energy to
consumers and their role in the wider energy system. The session
