Intimate image abuse is a prevalent form of technology-facilitated gender-based violence, disproportionately affecting women, girls, LGBTQI+ people – and increasingly, boys and young men. This review provides a global landscape analysis of the ecosystem and trends around intimate image abuse. It also reviews tools and strategies to prevent harm and support victim-survivors.

The foreword is by The Global Partnership for Action on Gender-Based Online Harassment and Abuse, comprising of 16 countries (Australia, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, New Zealand, Republic of South Korea, Spain, Sweden, UK and the US) and a multi-stakeholder Advisory Group. The Global Partnership is a majority-based decision-making organisation.
