The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero has published a
map showing clean energy projects supported by government.
Clean energy projects
map
Through the Clean Energy Mission, Government is delivering clean
power by 2030 and accelerating to net zero. Building a diverse
energy sector will bring energy security, protect billpayers,
create good jobs, and help to protect future generations from the
cost of climate breakdown. It will also revive British
manufacturing and innovation, helping to drive growth across all
parts of the UK.
This map features a range of clean energy projects supported by
government schemes since July 2024, as well as the jobs and
investment these are driving. This includes projects being
supported by Great British Energy, the National Wealth Fund, and
project leasing areas delivered by The Crown Estate.
The map includes technology-level information on the investment
and jobs benefits of the featured clean energy technologies,
where available.
Visit the Clean Energy Mission
site for more information about the government's mission
to make Britain a clean energy superpower.
Further technologies and schemes will be added as they are
announced or as more data becomes available. The information
shown on the map is subject to change, and the map and data
behind it are for general informational purposes only and users
should not seek to rely on the data without verification. Should
you have any feedback or find issues when using the
map, please contact us by email.
