The Prime Minister will aim to make ambitious progress on the
British people's priorities during a series of meetings with the
French President Emmanuel Macron this week. He will host

Wednesday and Thursday as part of the President's historic State

- The Prime Minister will aim to make ambitious progress on the
British people's priorities during a series of meetings with the
French President Emmanuel Macron this week.
- He will host French President Emmanuel Macron in Downing
Street on both Wednesday and Thursday as part of the President's
historic State Visit to the UK.
- France is one of the UK's closest partners, and the Prime
Minister's ambition is to use his engagements with the President
this week to further deliver for the British people. As well as
showcasing the breadth of the existing relationship between the
UK and France, he will aim to drive forward progress on tackling
irregular migration, enhancing our defence and security
co-operation and boosting trade and investment.
- At the 37th UK-France Summit, which will take
place on Thursday, the Prime Minister and the President will be
joined by senior government Ministers.
- Together, the leaders will also virtually join the next
meeting of the Coalition of the Willing, to discuss stepping up
support for Ukraine and further increasing pressure on Russia.
