Scottish Health Secretary visits West Lothian medical centre ahead of parliamentary statement

Health Secretary Neil Gray and COSLA Spokesperson Cllr Paul Kelly will visit the Blackburn Partnership Centre in West Lothian ahead of a Parliamentary statement on Delivering Reform and Renewal for Health and Social Care, following which the Population Health Framework and Service Renewal Framework will be published.

Media are invited to take images/video of Mr Gray and Cllr Kelly being given a tour of the centre and observing an exercise class for over 50s.

There will be interview opportunities with:

• Health Secretary (although Mr Gray is unable to talk to the detail of the statement until it is delivered to Parliament) and COSLA Health and Social Care spokesman Paul Kelly (COSLA is jointly leading this work with the Scottish Government)

• A representative of Blackburn Partnership Centre  
• Service users
