Welsh Government: First meeting of Tariff Intelligence and Response Group

Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning, Rebecca Evans, said:

“Today I held a first meeting of our my newly formed Tariff Intelligence and Response Group. I set up this group to hear directly from business leaders and union representatives about the impact of President Trump's tariffs on Wales.

“Today's discussions focused on initial reactions to the tariffs and provided valuable insight. The group will continue to meet regularly as the situation evolves, so we can work together to understand and address the economic challenges these tariffs present to Welsh businesses and workers.”
