Following reports of suspicion of highly pathogenic avian
influenza (HPAI) at a premises
near Watton, Mid Norfolk, Norfolk the UK chief veterinary officer
has decided to cull the affected birds and a 3 km temporary
control zone A, and a 10km temporary control zone B have been
declared surrounding the premises. All poultry on the premises
will be humanely culled.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 was
confirmed in commercial poultry at a premises near Attleborough,
Breckland, Norfolk (AIV 2024/09). A 3km protection zone and a
10km surveillance zone have been declared surrounding the
premises. All poultry on the premises will be humanely
culled.
Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 was also
confirmed in commercial poultry at a premises near Gayton, Kings
Lynn and West Norfolk, Norfolk (AIV 2024/10). A 3km protection
zone and a 10km surveillance zone have been declared surrounding
the premises. All poultry on the premises will be humanely
culled.
