Package holidays have now become even easier to book from
Teesside Airport.
TUI are now selling package holidays utilising Ryanair flights –
with bookings of journeys to and from Teesside included on TUI website
search facilities.
It means passengers now have the additional choice to book a
package holiday via TUI to destinations served by Ryanair from
Teesside to destinations like Malaga, Faro, Corfu, Alicante and
Majorca.
And this includes holidays already served by TUI to Dalaman and
Majorca.
Phil Forster, Managing Director of Teesside Airport, said: “This
is a big boost for us and a great move by both TUI and Ryanair.
It's good news as it offers more flexibility on breaks and
packages – and shows just what we have to offer. It's also much
easier for passengers to now book a package holiday using Ryanair
flights.
“We consistently offer a great personal passenger experience and
a quick stress-free journey airside.
“With the Boxing Day sales coming after Christmas, this is
another great chance to choose Teesside and grab a deal with us.”
Phill Iveson, Commercial Director TUI UK &I: "We are pleased
that our partnership with Ryanair is now live and we've now added
the full range of their extensive network to our programme.
“Marking a significant expansion in our flight offerings this
collaboration enhances our ability to provide customers with
greater choice and flexibility in their travel plans throughout
the year. It's a move that aligns with our focus on growing
dynamic packaging and individual travel options and we're
optimistic about the positive impact this will have on our
customers' travel experiences and our business growth.
“This partnership allows us to meet a wider range of customer
needs, from city breaks to package holidays, as we continue our
journey to become a complete travel and leisure experiences
marketplace, offering curated, handpicked experiences with
dynamic flexibility throughout the year."
Boxing Day traditionally marks the start of the busiest period of
the year in the flight sale calendar – with new deals expected to
be unveiled as you tuck into a turkey sandwich.
The website change comes after Malaga was unveiled as a new route
on Teesside departure boards from March 2025, running twice a
week until October.
