The information gained from the consultation informed the overall published summary report (June 2024) and the development of the first editions of Sector Skills Roadmaps. The aim of the maps is to provide an overview, visual presentation of what you have told us so far.

They aim to inform and influence a number of areas from planning, provision and policy developments. They are the commencement of a comprehensive approach to skills planning linked to key identified milestones and labour market intelligence.

Milestones are key investments and projects in Wales, emerging legislation and/or policy shifts that will have an impact on skills, jobs and the workforce.

Next steps will involve testing this approach further, across a wider range of sub-sectors or key investment opportunities. Building on new sources of labour market intelligence and on-going work with stakeholders and industry leaders.
