Conservatives invest in jobs for Wales

Responding to the news that Rolls-Royce Submarines are creating more than 100 jobs in Cardiff to provide nuclear reactors for new attack submarines. Paul Davies MS, Shadow Economy Minister, said:

“This is fantastic news and the investment from UK Government will lead to over 100 highly skilled and well-paid new jobs in Wales.

“With the highly skilled nature of the job it is hoped that engineers will come to Cardiff to take part in this fantastic opportunity, and it will inspire the next generation of Welsh engineers. 

“Wales needs more highly skilled jobs, so it is excellent to see that once again the UK Government is delivering for the people of Wales.”
