introduced – with nearly £15 million loaded onto cards, including
£640,000 in 2023 so far.
Commenting, SNP MSP said:
“SNP elected representatives will be out across the country this
weekend backing small businesses and raising awareness of
fantastic local shops and producers in their towns and
communities.
“In the face of a disastrous Brexit and Westminster economic
turmoil it has never been harder for business in Scotland – so I
know how important this support from the SNP Government is.
“I also know how welcome the recent announcement from the First
Minister on the establishment of a new Small Business Unit is –
this will ensure small businesses are always heard and that they
are supported to raise productivity and reduce costs.
“Small businesses are the lifeblood of communities across
Scotland and under the SNP Government they will always be fully
backed to succeed.”
