UK-Republic of Korea framework for semiconductor cooperation: joint statement

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea (MOTIE) and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology of the United Kingdom (DSIT) have agreed upon a framework for semiconductor cooperation.

This will enhance cooperation in areas of skills, research and development, trade, industrial collaboration, and supply chain resilience.

The framework was signed in London on 22 November 2023 by the Secretary of State for Science Innovation and Technology of the United Kingdom and the Minister for Trade, Industry of the Republic of Korea. It is accompanied by a Joint Statement by MOTIE and DSIT.
