Prime Minister continues travel in Middle East

Today (Friday 20 October) the Prime Minister will continue his travel in the Middle East to discuss the situation in Isael and Gaza.

Yesterday he met the President and Prime Minister of Israel, and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.

This morning he is expected to travel to Egypt for further meetings with counterparts from the region.

In all these conversations the Prime Minister has stressed the imperative of avoiding regional escalation and preventing the further unnecessary loss of civilian life.
